Duck confit

The Lafitte confit duck thighs cooked in the traditional way: first salted and then slowly confit in duck fat.

The ducks are raised for a minimum of 102 days and fattened with non-GMO whole grain corn.. Duck confit without additives or preservatives.

How is duck confit prepared?

Here is how to make duck confit: Preheat the oven to 180º, remove the duck legs from the can, clean them of fat without removing it all and season to taste. Heat and brown the duck thighs (already cooked) in the oven for about 20/30 minutes depending on the size.

We can accompany the duck thighs with potatoes sautées in the same fat or with boletus.

Where to buy duck confit?

You can buy the duck confit online in our store. If you prefer, you can also buy it in person in our workshop located in Sant Pere de Ribes. The small can of confit contains 2 thighs, the medium can contains 5 thighs and the large can contains 11 thighs.
