Foie gras. A surprising ally for health.

Like acorn-fed Iberian ham and pure olive oil, foie gras is a great ally in the fight against bad cholesterol in the blood.

It is a food made from duck, goose or gander liver and has a high content of essential nutrients for the body: vitamin A, iron, folic acid.

Its fat content has a large amount of mono-saturated acids, which, like olive oil, has a protective effect on the heart.

It is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and its consumption is recommended to reduce bad cholesterol in the blood.

n the Landes, the ducks are raised in the open air in a natural environment for a minimum of 102 days with the utmost respect for the animal.

The traditional aging method and the control of the product at all stages comply with the most stringent food safety standards.

They are fed only with vegetable products such as corn and wheat. Fattened in the traditional way with whole corn grains and not transgenic. Absence of antibiotic treatment.

This type of production represents only 5% of national production in France.
